Are you highly skilled within industrial vision systems and automation? Do you want to use these skills for the benefit of millions living with diabetes? In that case, you could be our new Vision Engineer to support a rapidly growing production of the FlexTouch® pen system.

About the department
You will join 110 colleagues in Pre Assembly Production, which is part of Device Manufacturing & Sourcing in Hillerød. We are currently experiencing an up scaling of the production to meet stock level expectations and the increasing demands from customers worldwide. You will be part of a strong process support team, which holds responsibility 6 production lines word wide and amongst others supports production within documentation, vision, automation as well as structured problem solving of daily issues in quality and performance.

The Job
As Vision Engineer, you are responsible for the validation and performance of the vision systems on our assembly lines. As we operate in a highly regulated industry, an important part of your job is to ensure the validated state of the equipment and to handle documentation related to validation, change requests and non-conformities within your area of responsibility.

You also support production and efficiently solve technical problems on the assembly lines with the flexibility needed in a production environment. You analyse data in order to find root causes and identify the best possible solutions to improve performance and stability. You will also train technicians on the use of the equipment. Whether you work on the equipment or handle documentation, you always focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. Furthermore, you participate in various projects that could cover rebuilds of equipment, specification of requirements for new vision systems, or working out test plans for vision.

This position gives you the opportunity to develop your skills and interests within industrial vision systems. You can also look forward to joining a dynamic organisation and to a close collaboration with machine operators, technicians as well colleagues from Quality Assurance (QA), Device Manufacturing Development as well as external equipment suppliers.

Qualifications
Preferably you have an engineering background combined with experience of vision systems and automation from a production environment in the drug or food industry where you have become familiar with GMPs.

Your interpersonal skills enable you to act across functional and organizational borders. You thrive with the ever changing daily challenges that arise in production and you can cope with periods of high work load and tight deadlines. By nature you look for improvement and for ways to optimise our processes and you enjoy working in a culture of lean thinking. Fluency in Danish and English, written as well as spoken is expected.
