Would you like to work with technical challenges, be part of a dynamic group and see your work affecting the integration of Balance of Plant?

Join us and become Senior TrC Project Lead in our Technical Integrity Management department, where you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure asset integrity of our Balance of Plant during the construction phase until handover to Operation. In addition, you will provide technical reports for the management based on the handover process.

Technical Integrity Management is part of the Global Operations department in Wind Power, which has 1,400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world's largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.

You may choose freely to be based either at our Danish offices in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the greater Copenhagen area. You should, however, expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Areas of responsibility
You will handle our entire Balance of Plant portfolio, eg substations and foundations. Your primary tasks will be to secure the best possible handover from project to operation, ensuring optimum operation and the best possible lifetime.

To ensure structured and well-documented operation, you will work with asset integrity management systems (ISO55001). Technical risk registers will form the backbone of your work on optimising technical integrity.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • provide technical project management to secure the transfer certificate process for BoP
  • ensure that BoP-related operation and maintenance issues are secured by utilising technical resources in the Operations & Maintenance organisation
  • enforce and enhance operation and maintenance requirements for BoP during the construction phase
  • reduce OPEX by providing the best possible asset integrity at transfer
  • ensure a regular BoP status on each site and provide recommendations for the transfer of BoP, as well as securing documentation from suppliers.

Your profile
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in construction engineering supplemented with theoretical knowledge of and practical experience with project management as well as practical experience in delivering results.

Additionally, you have solid theoretical and practical knowledge of substations onshore and offshore and of turbine foundations. It is a plus if you have experience with construction projects. Ideally, you have experience with constructions in operation and issues related to this.

You have good communication skills, and as we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. It is considered an advantage if you speak and write Danish as well.

We expect you to be able to pass offshore GWO training.

It is important that you thrive in a job in a rapidly growing, multi-cultural project organisation where the only constant is change.

You are able to plan your work and consider issues from the user's viewpoint. It is essential that you have an analytical approach to your work as well as the ability to understand technically complex issues. Additionally, you thrive on working both independently and in teams, while solving a major part of your tasks in close cooperation with external business partners and colleagues in cross-disciplinary teams.

We offer
A unique and exciting job in a dynamic department with many cross-disciplinary activities. You have the opportunity to cooperate with committed and skilled colleagues across an international organisation.

In DONG Energy Wind Power, we have a high level of expertise and many complex and challenging work tasks. We work goal-oriented and efficiently with some of the world's largest offshore wind projects, and we are committed to reducing the cost of electricity.
