Chris-Marine & IOP Marine is looking for a visionary and ambitious sales director with the ability to drive our sales even further.

Position
With reference to the CEO, you will play a key-role in driving, developing and executing the short and long term strategy and commercial direction. As Sales Director you will ensure the continuous and targeted sales efforts of the team which means that you will create a positive environment when leading the way to customers. At the same time it is important that you are successful in creating a business model when the environment is changing or influenced by other external parties.

You will manage the Scandinavian Sales team, and as a member of the Group management team you will contribute to the success of the entire business globally. You will work out of our office in the Öresund region with reference to the Group CEO.

Your key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the sales team
  • Ensure continuous and targeted sales strategies and efforts
  • Responsible for target setting, KPI's and performance of the sales team
  • Closing deals with key customers and partners
  • Ensure competitor overview and market intelligence
  • Ensure customer loyalty

Profile
You have a solid technical and commercial background within B2B sales and a passion for being part of the maritime industry. Your analytical skills are exceptional. You are familiar with numbers/figures and know how to translate them into tactical initiatives.

You are an experienced and proactive leader who inspires and motivates your team of experienced Area Sales Managers to high performance and you know how to drive expansion and create results with a globally diverse organization.

As a person you are energetic and have strong interpersonal skills. As you will be working with many internal and external stakeholders, your communication and influencing skills as well as presentation skills are required to succeed in this role. Furthermore it is important that you know how to interface in a cross boarder organization.

You are fluent in English, spoken and in writing. You should expect approximately 50 travel days per year.
