We are busy with exciting infrastructure projects in Denmark and abroad, so we are looking for experienced engineers to undertake catenary systems, design and supervision.
 
About us
COWI's business unit of Railways, Roads and Airports numbers more than 500 employees at COWI's offices in Denmark and abroad.
We are one of Denmark's largest infrastructure consultants, and we are busy with a range of exciting Danish and international rail projects. Our projects include consultancy on the Electrification Programme, on Denmark's major lightrail projects in Odense and Aarhus, and on the traffic and construction works related to the establishment of the Ring 3 light rail in Copenhagen.
 
We are also involved in major road and construction projects in Denmark: We provide consultancy on the construction of the new railway across West Funen, and we provide services under the framework agreement for the Fredericia-Lindholm railway section.  
We are also involved in road and rail project across most of the world.
 
Job description
You will be part of our Railways and Metro department in Lyngby, Vejle or Aarhus, where you will work on some of the most high-profile infrastructure projects in the industry, focusing on interdisciplinary cooperation, national and international. You have a degree in engineering, a solid technical background and at least five to ten years of experience with designing catenary systems.
 
Your tasks include

  • Steel structures and foundations
  • Planning and dimensioning of new catenary systems and implementation of changes to existing systems
  • Preparation of layout
  • Stage planning
  • Dialogue with colleagues and customers
  • Technical supervision.

About you

  • You have experience with catenary systems.
  • You have professional pride and aspire to be among the best.

  • You thrive in a busy working environment and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • You have good Danish (and possibly English) language skills, written and spoken.
  • You are self-managed and energetic, have a sense of humour as well as a targeted and structured approach to work.
