The European Space Agency (ESA) is an intergovernmental organisation* that offers challenging career opportunities for highly-qualified European engineers to work at the forefront of space science and technology.

ESA is currently recruiting space engineers / Rum-ingeniør (m/f) for positions based in Noordwijk, The Netherlands, in a range of engineering disciplines including structures, mechanisms, thermal, optical, microelectronics, radio navigation, control systems, components, materials and software.

Key responsibilities include:

  • providing engineering support in the relevant domain to future and ongoing ESA projects;
  • managing R&D technology contracts.

Applicants are expected to have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline as well as demonstrated experience in the field. In addition, they must have a good knowledge of one of ESA's official languages, English or French, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
