About the department
Sourcing Operations (SoOp) is the central purchasing area in Product Supply, responsible for purchasing, distribution and warehousing of the thousands of materials going into the production worldwide. You will join 9 dedicated analysts & project managers in Project & Data Office. As a part of Business Support, the team is responsible for supporting Sourcing Operations with supply chain analysis to enable management decision and drive cross organisational projects.

The job
As a project manager your main responsibility will be to drive larger projects and tasks within Sourcing Operations with high impact on the performance of Novo Nordisk inbound supply chain. In particular, you will drive optimization projects to ensure our inbound supply chain processes are stable, compliant and ready to handle further growth of Novo Nordisk. In this role, you will get a chance to work with many different colleagues across our organisation, and your success is dependent on your collaboration and communication skills and your ability to understand your stakeholders as well as the processes and gather relevant data. Additionally, you will be accountable for progress and transparency throughout the projects, by providing clear goals and direction for the project team, in a motivating and inspiring way.

This is a new position, where you can look forward to a great degree of influence. You will contribute to continuously improving the stability and efficiency of our logistics processes, ensuring that we are set for the future both in terms of growth and compliance.

Qualifications
You hold a relevant Master's degree (e.g. in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management) with excellent results, and you have a proven track-record within logistics, project management, data analysis and process optimization.

You are a self-starter who thrives with driving tasks and projects independently and you are motivated by ambitious goals. Your analytical skills enable you to challenge complex problems and processes, and to prioritize your efforts in an optimal way. You have a positive mind-set and are able to build relations with people at all levels in the organisation. Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to prepare presentation material, are expected combined with solid Powerpoint and Excel skills. Finally, you speak and write English fluently.
