Business Development Manager, Business Building & Partnering, Bagsværd, DK
Business Building and Partnering is part of the bigger Business Creation & Acquisitions area and anchored in Business Development - the vehicle that leverages Novozymes' capabilities to build new multi-billion DKK businesses.

Our strategy is to Partner for Impact, and we typically seek for areas to partner and grow where our play can be transformational in nature.

Your challenge in this position will be to drive novel business projects from early stage establishment until they become businesses in Novozymes. The job is characterized by being outward-oriented and market-driven while being solidly involved with R&D and stakeholders from management who set the direction.

Working with projects that have a transformational potential, we organize in dynamic project-based team structures. You should be able and willing to take on both project leadership roles, and business development roles in the team, depending on the nature and competency need of the project.

In this position you need to have

  • Master and/or MBA, and English proficiency
  • 5-10 years of experience from Business Development, Operations (Sales/Marketing) or alternatively Finance or R&D combined with some years in market-oriented business settings
  • Some level of technical flair/experience is an advantage (biology/chemistry)
  • Some level of contract formation and negotiation experience (partners, customers or upper level internal stakeholders)
  • Experience from growth markets, eg. in Latin America or in Asia is an advantage
  • Solid interpersonal skills allowing fearless and effective manoeuvring amongst internal and external stakeholders
  • Organized, analytical self-starter that can drive projects, create and judge business cases
