Mechanical Engineer (rotating equipment)

Statoil Refining Denmark A/S in Kalundborg, is the largest oil refinery in Denmark. The refinery has a capacity of 5,5 million tons/year and has 350 employees. The company is owned 100% by its parent company, Statoil Danmark A/S which is a 100% owned subsidiary of the Norwegian based Statoil ASA.

Job description

  • Ensure mechanical rotating equipment meets internal and external specifications.
  • Maintain internal standards and specifications within the mechanical rotating discipline.
  • Continuously follow up the performance & condition of mechanical rotating equipment for availability, capacity and regularity.
  • Ensure quality of equipment criticality & maintenance concepts.
  • Perform verification of cost estimates and approve technical solutions within modification projects for mechanical rotating equipment.
  • Ensure relevant technical documentation is updated and correct for mechanical rotating equipment.
  • Provide technical support to operations & maintenance personnel as required.
  • Approval of installation of equipment for commissioning within modifications.

Qualifications

  • Experience preferred: 3-5 years.
  • A bachelor or master degree within mechanical engineering with emphasis on rotating equipment.
  • Relevant experience from heavy processing industry related to pumps / steam turbines / compressors.
  • Knowledge of condition control monitoring of rotating equipment
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in Danish and English, both spoken & written.
