Mechanical Design Engineers

Our mechanical design department is expanding, and we are currently looking for 3 new colleagues.
 
About the job 
Mechanical development is undertaken in close cooperation with the other development functions in Widex, and thereby addresses the exciting interdisciplinary challenges associated with the development of high quality hearing aids and hearing aid accessories.
Your main tasks will be: 

• Conceptual design of new products 
• Detailed mechanical 3D-CAD design using PTC Creo 
• Prototype builds for design verification 
• Handover to Operations for production release

Our department works with the latest technology in CAD, simulation and prototyping, including CREO, Moldex3D eDesign, Ansys DesignSpace, 3D printers, etc. We also place a high priority on professional skills, and provide the possibility of individual specialization and supplementary training through so-called competence groups.

About you 
You have a passion for mechanical design, and strive to deliver high quality solutions within the defined project. Whether you are a recent graduate, or have years of experience with mechanical development we expect you to:

• have a good, solid education as a mechanical engineer or plastics engineer, preferably with a practical skills background 
• be a super-user of 3D CAD programs 
• enjoy working with product development from the initial phases to final handover to production 
• be positive, focused and dynamic in your work 
• be able to achieve good results on the basis of both theory and practice 
• have experience with development of small plastic, metal and rubber parts 
• be a team player with good collaboration skills
