Business Architects to facilitate a pioneering business transformation program

Embark on a challenging quest to launch a new IT platform
At Telenor we have begun an all-encompassing business transformation. The goal for 2015 is to launch a new IT platform to secure flexibility for the future digital age. By taking data-centricity to a new level, we will create a seamless customer experience by means of an omni-channel approach. This will impact everything from customer experience, employee engagement, and business/ product development.

Are you ready to join a highly visible project which is top priority for Top Management in Telenor Denmark and involves approximately 400 project participants across Telenor?

Understand business needs and bridge them with IT solutions
Joining the Demand Management department along with 8 new IT specialists, you will collaborate closely in setting the direction for the business transformation program. As an integrated part of the department, you will also ensure a strong long-term architecture after launch in this true cross-cultural program with locations in China, Hungary, Ukraine and Denmark.

As Business Architect, you will work closely with the business as sparring partner in terms of possibilities in the architecture on an individual project level. This involves building competences in key business processes, understanding how IT solutions support the business objectives and communicating this to the business in an understandable manner. 

See through complex business challenges and find solutions in the architecture
Overall, you will use your broad understanding across product development from ideation to implementation, and you are responsible for:

• Analyzing the solution impact of new business requirements or changes in existing requirements in close collaboration with Solution Architects
• Assisting Business Owners in formulating business requirements aligned with or adapted to the IT solution architecture
• Ensuring that solutions deliver on business objectives, have the necessary qualities and cost profile
• Ensuring that business requirement implementation follows the agreed solution and long-term target architecture
• Making certain that business requirements are turned into proper system specific requirements

You see the big picture and have in-depth  business knowledge
Ideally, you have a rare combination of business and technical knowledge, process experience and transformation talent. To top that off, you have a winning and persuasive personality combined with an ability to collaborate, allowing you to bring parties together. In addition, 

• You ideally have experience from a senior IT technology position, preferably within processes, systems, architecture and contracts management area
• You most likely have a master or bachelor degree in Computer Science
• You are structured and able to plan, prioritise and deliver
• Experience and skills working in an international and multicultural environment are key
• You have excellent communication/presentation skills in English, and Danish is a plus
