Project Managers

We are looking for two new Project Managers to join the existing team of six experienced Project Managers in Global Engineering. We look for one Project Manager with minimum five years’ experience and one Senior Project Manager with minimum 10 years’ experience.

Global Engineering (GE) implements projects at our global production facilities within our core competences: building, mechanical and automation. In addition, we contribute with vital expertise to feasibility studies and project drafts in the entire Chr. Hansen organization. We are a well-functioning department with a total of 40 staff members in Denmark, France, Germany and USA. We work with projects in Denmark and abroad in an exciting cross-functional environment. We are expanding the exiting team in order to keep track with the current and future project portfolio.

As a Project Manager in Global Engineering you will be responsible for executing minor as well as large scale investment projects from idea all the way to final hand over to production and maintenance.

The Danish part of GE is located in Avedøre Holme near Copenhagen where you will be based, but in periods, some travel activities may be required.

Your tasks

• Project Management of major and minor projects
• Responsible for handling all involved suppliers - internal as well as external, sub-contractors and consultants participating in your project
• Responsible for budget and reporting
• Optimizing projects at Chr. Hansen productions facilities in Denmark and abroad 

Your qualifications

• You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering (mechanical, chemical), or similar
• You possess excellent project management skills; experience with project management is a must - certification is an advantage
• You have experience with contractual and legal conditions in relation to suppliers and consultants
• Stakeholder relations, budget follow-up and reporting are some of your key competences
• You have experience within process installations and process equipment
• Experience with the following areas is considered an advantage: Batch control concepts (ISA S88), Installation, start-up and commissioning, handover and ramp up, GMP/EHEDG standards, Qualification in Food or Pharma facilities, Hygienic and aseptic design (CIP/SIP)
• You are gifted with strong communication skills, Danish and English, both verbally and in writing
