About the Company and Department
International position with product and geographical responsibility

For further development and growth of the Tank Cleaning Portfolio Alfa Laval is looking for a new Portfolio Manager to the Tank Equipment portfolio management team. As our new Portfolio Manager you will report directly to the Global Portfolio Manager, Tank Equipment, and you will be part of the small team responsible for the entire Tank Cleaning Portfolio targeting Industrial as well as Hygienic industries.

The complete portfolio holds significant growth potential, and initially the main task will be to execute projects already in progress. As you get more familiar with the organization and our way of doing business you will also participate on a strategic and tactical level focusing on portfolio and business development.

Your main Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop sales and profitability of the portfolio in specific Regions
  • Perform technical training and education of Alfa Laval Sales companies and Sales Channels
  • Support sales companies and their sales channels in sales and promotion activities including technical assistance on big projects
  • Develop Sales material and campaigns together with the Marketing-department
  • Launch manager when new products are launched from our pipeline
  • Act as a key player in the development of the three portfolio´s. (in close corporation with R&D and product management).

Your background:

  • In-depth knowledge about Tank Cleaning and CIP processes, preferably hand´s-on experience combined with a theoretical foundation
  • Work experience from an Industrial industry like the Chemical, Pulp&Paper or similar industry is preferred
  • A technical degree, preferable combined with a commercial degree also.

As a person you are pro-active with a high degree of independence and drive. You understand the necessity of building good relations with customers and colleagues thus achieving measurable results. You also know how to:

  • Communicate and present important information in a professional and inspiring way
  • Contribute positively to the team with humour and an open approach
  • Structurize your tasks
  • Write and speak English on a high level

It is also very important; in order to have success in this position that you can work in an international matrix-organization with cultural variety.

You are expected to travel 50-70 days a year and your working place can be either Kolding or Søborg
