Experienced Mainframe Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Software developer to our mainframe team that develops, improves and maintains software and hardware tools to AFPx related print solutions on the Mainframe platform (System z). The team is placed in the Copenhagen area and the Aalborg area.

As part of our mainframe team, you will participate in all aspects of the developing process from customer meetings to design, implementation, quality assurance, installation and support.

You must be able to design and develop mainframe programs in related areas.

Relevant training in the MPI Tech products will be provided in close interaction with the team of experienced software developers.

Our mainframe team covers worldwide support in relation to our mainframe customers. It will be your responsibility to give an extraordinary customer service including technical guidance and counselling.

Professional qualifications
You have a bachelor or master degree in computer science, Electronic Engineering or other related education or experience. Furthermore, you have experience with structured program design and programing in C and assembler. You have experience with the z/OS and z/VM environments. Experience with DCF script, PPFA, OGL or other AFP document generation applications would be an advantage.

You must be fluent in English and preferably in Danish. Knowledge of French will be an advantage.

An extrovert personality with experience in understanding the customers’ needs will be preferred.
