Scientist for Assay Optimization

You'll be part of a dynamic team of 19 scientists and laboratory technicians based in Bagsværd. Assay Optimization is part of the Global Assay Development & Optimization area which includes two departments in Denmark and one in China.

We develop & optimize assays for production and research support. We provide unique and new solutions based on analytical detection principles and technical platforms.

You will take part in and drive the exploration of new analytical principles and platforms in order to further optimize Novozymes analytical processes. You will do need strong insight and expertise in enzyme chemistry and analytical detection principles.

Your role will be to have a strong analytical approach to your work, and at the same time be able to think "out of the box".

In this position you need to:

• Have a PhD in biochemistry, chemical engineering or similar
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
• Have knowledge and interest in statistics, SAS jump and presentation of statistical data
• Posess strong personal interaction skills and the ability to co-work with people around the world and lead by an example
• Preferably have knowledge of work processes in Quality Control labs
