Do you want to help improve our LCA model and develop strategies within the areas of resource efficiency and environmental policies within our product categories - mainly building materials and electronics? Then you might be the person we are looking for to join our Standardisation, Product Legislation and LCA team at our Head Office in Hørsholm, Denmark.

Your challenges
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our GaBi model for LCA calculations of VELUX products and for ensuring coordination of third party verified LCA reports and environmental product declarations.

Your tasks will include:

Ensuring that VELUX LCA model is in accordance to relevant regulation and standards
Supporting and giving guidance on environmental product declarations to our Sales Companies and internal departments
Supporting our Product Management and Product Development teams in defining environmental requirements in the product development process
Developing strategies within the areas of resource efficiency and environment
Participating in standardising areas within LCA

Your qualifications
You most likely have a technical background and some years’ experience in modelling LCA calculations in GaBi, ideally from a similar position in an international company. You are familiar with many different materials and their environmental impacts and you have good analytical skills.

It would be an advantage if you have experience within LCA calculations of building materials and knowledge of EN 15804, LCA calculations of electronic equipment and Standardisation.

As a person, you are committed and can work independently, have good interpersonal and communication skills and a strong personal impact. You are fluent in English and if you can communicate in Danish that would certainly be an advantage, but it is not a must.

Being part of a large global organisation, you can expect 10-20 days of international and national travel per year.
