Senior Control Design Engineer

For our Generator Control Team in the Technology Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a dedicated Control Design Engineer. The Generator Control Teams most important task is to Develop and validate control features for DD generators.
 
What are my responsibilities?

• Developing advanced control algorithms for large PM machines
• Modeling, simulating and specifying control algorithms
• Optimizing power conversion of generator and converter
• Minimizing noise and vibration of electrical machines
• Validating performance, reliability and robustness of controller on full scale performance test rigs and at field turbine level

 
What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You hold a Master or Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or similar
• You have experience in machine control
• You have good understanding on electrical machines and frequency converters
• You are familiar with Matlab programming and Simulink simulations
• You have a proven track record of working with PM synchronous machines, and you have strong theoretical skills coupled with a practical hands-on approach
• You are a team player with good communication and coordinator skills
• You have a proactive and positive approach, you are selfdriven and are able to keep an overview in hectic situations
• You possess fluency in English both orally and in writing.
