Shure Scandinavia A/S is looking for a software engineer to join our Product Development department in Copenhagen.

Product Development is responsible for developing products and advanced meeting control for DCS6000 and other SHURE conferencing products, which are used in wide range of settings from board rooms to parliaments. The DDS 5900 and DCS 6000 products are based on our proprietary communication technology with high reliability and flexibility. To support our company strategy of offering edge-cutting solutions to parliaments and to support the company’s future growth, we are in the process of developing the next generation of our conferencing software.

The job
You will be a part of a local software team of 8 developers and be involved in all software development phases. In the development process, we cooperate with firmware, product management and cross-functional teams on, but not limited to:

  • Design, implementation and test of scalable back end services
  • Design, implementation and test of front end client applications
  • Prepare and provide supporting design documents, including design specifications, experimental results, design options and trade-offs for final design choice
  • Software design, verification and reviews
  • Maintenance of line (MOL) work

Competences & skills
We are looking for a candidate with bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or IT, and 5 or more years’ of experience with proven knowledge within several of the following areas:

  • HTML5, CSS/SASS and JavaScript
  • Microsoft .Net, ASP.NET, C#
  • Database technologies SQL/NoSQL
  • Ability to estimate, organize and document tasks
  • Agile development methods and principles

Furthermore, it would be an advantage having experience and knowledge within:

  • Angular JS / SignalR / WebAPI / Node.js
  • REST based API development
  • Responsive web design 
  • Visual Studio 2013 / SVN / Gulp
  • Follow best practices for architecture, review and design
  • Knowledge of software design principles and patterns such as SOLID
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English
