KPMG is focusing strongly on building our Microsoft Business Intelligence capabilities, providing full end-to-end projects to our clients. By combining the skills of brilliant Business Intelligence experts, with KPMG’s industry-leading expertise in Business Process optimization, enterprise performance management, finance and insurance, we are uniquely positioned to deliver exactly what our clients need.
As part of our Technical Enablement service line, you will be focusing on selling, designing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions for our Advisory clients.
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Microsoft BI Solution Architect that is passionate about building KPMG’s brand-new Microsoft Business Intelligence consulting and delivery capabilities.
Our Danish team is just getting started and you have the opportunity to be part of laying the foundation for future successful projects and help to define the framework for which to deliver them. Things are moving fast, and your hard-earned experience and insight is vital to help us make sure we do things right, from the start
- Be a key player in building and maintaining the brand new Microsoft Business Intelligence service line in Denmark, evangelizing the team to internal and external stakeholders
- Help drive the pre-sales qualification and adopt/tailor offers to proposals for Microsoft BI prospective clients
- Apply your deep, proven Microsoft BI knowledge and experience to lead client engagements and workshops with an end-to-end view of delivering outstanding quality projects
- Show clear product and solution leadership within the team as well as to the client
- Help engage and interlock to our international KPMG BI teams and capability center’s
- Work within the international network of KPMG advisors
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to orchestrate entire Business Intelligence solutioning from pre-sales and advisory to design and implementation
- Preferable proven consulting expertise in either Finance, Insurance, Transport & Logistics or Industrial sectors from pre-sales and advisory to design and implementation with demonstration of senior positions, including proven consulting expertise
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft BI platform, including Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) on which you have developed BI solutions
- Experience with analysis and reporting tools, i.e. reporting services or similar
- Preferable knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Sharepoint or Office 365
- Multiple Certifications in Microsoft SQL server 2012
- Preferable experience from working with corporate performance management or business process management
- Bachelor’s or preferably Master’s degree
- Ability to quickly grasp other domains outside direct field of expertise
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams and complex work streams and gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
- Ability to travel within Denmark and abroad as required
- Fluent language skills in Danish and English
