Aerodynamic Engineer

To meet its challenges and development targets, Kitemill is now recruiting an Aerodynamics Engineer. The person will communicate directly to the Technical Manager. 

The aerodynamical engineer will have the internal responsibility to develop and produce the most efficient kite for the kite turbines. He will contribute to the development of the airfoil and planform, up to the manufacturing of the kite as well as the final testing of the system. The position will develop a theoretical understanding of tests and as such involve modelling. He will work together with our collaborating partners on finding an optimal solution dependent on the specifications / requirements that are defined. 

Your background will ideally encompass a Master degree in aerodynamics. As a result we expect the engineer to be able to do VLM & CFD simulations, airfoil design and aeroelastic analysis. Competence in the area of materials / structural design / control is a strong plus. 

Ideally the candidate has aerodynamics experience from the aviation / defense industry.

English writing and communication is mandatory. The person should be independent and self-motivating.
