Your challenges
As Senior Project Consultant IT for Product Information Management (PIM) you will join the VELUX IT Business Partnering department in supporting the sales- and service organisations globally. The position is located at the VELUX A/S headquarters in Hørsholm, North of Copenhagen. The department strives at delivering and supporting IT systems that provide VELUX with a competitive advantage, by improving productivity and effectiveness of our sales companies around the world. As Senior Project Consultant IT you will be a part of a strategic multi-year project, supported by top management, on the implementation of a Product Information Management system in VELUX. The desired outcome of the project is to strengthen the capabilities required for delivering new digital sales and marketing solutions to customers and VELUX employees.
Your main tasks
As one of the main drivers in the global PIM project you will be a part of a global team dedicated to defining, developing, and implementing the PIM system, with the aim of supporting VELUX customers with product information as well as feed current and future digital tools with product-related data. Stakeholder management will be a central element as you will be in contact with several departments at headquarters, sales companies, and with external IT partners.
Your qualifications
You have a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or IT, and have solid experience with IT having participated in large international IT projects. Furthermore you have experience with working with Master Data Management and data integration from different sources (e.g. SAP, Oracle, databases, etc.). It will be an advantage if you, in addition to the above, have experience with digital solutions e.g. B2B and B2C web shops etc. Experience within IT consultancy will also be an advantage, but not a requirement.
As a person you are proactive, driven, and thrive in an environment with many stakeholders and a fast pace. You are reliable and robust and have strong communications skills which allow you to communicate effectively with people of different backgrounds. Furthermore you work well both in teams and independently, and have a strong eye for detail.
As the position includes travelling to the different sales companies across Europe of approximately 15-30 days a year, we expect you to be fluent in both written and verbal English.
