Would you like to join Ramboll in developing its international environmental portfolio and become a key player in implementing our environmental projects on an international arena? Join the Department for International Project Management

You will join a team of international consultants responsible for acquiring and managing projects within both the environment and energy sector. We work in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural environment with a high level of collaboration across divisions in the Ramboll Group.

Our clients primarily comprise of International Financial Institutions (IFIs) such as the European Commission (EC), European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), Danida and the European Investment Bank (EIB).

We currently are implementing projects in a number of countries including Croatia, Romania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Nigeria.

Responsibility
Your role as an environmental consultant will be to work with your colleagues in acquiring, implementing and managing projects on behalf of the afore mentioned clients in many areas including waste management, environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA), nature protection, air pollution etc. 

Your involvement in projects in these sectors will primarily entail:

  • Preparation of feasibility studies
  • Due diligence
  • Strategic planning
  • Institutional development, strengthening, capacity building and training
  • Tender document preparation and procurement
  • Investment facility planning and development
  • Harmonisation of EU environmental legislation

Furthermore, you will be expected to develop business and secure future work via liaising with clients and preparing tenders.  Your work will involve significant travel primarily to Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

Your Profile
You should have a master’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science or equivalent with 5 - 10 years’ experience working on a range of multidisciplinary environmental projects. International experience would be a considerable advantage but not a necessity.

  • Proven experience in a wide variety of environmental sectors
  • Capacity to work in new areas - both technical and geographical
  • A proven communicator with ability to establish and foster close relations with clients
  • A proactive and energetic approach
  • Ability to develop new business and prepare tenders
  • A desire to work internationally and willing to travel extensively
  • Fluency in English a necessity, fluency in Danish an advantage
