Join us and become Project Planner in our Time & Resource Management department which is part of Wind Power Project Support, providing dedicated employees to our offshore wind farm projects. Together with your colleagues, you will be driving time management and resource planning and implementing standardised processes in our offshore wind projects.

Time & Resource Management is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe.

You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Areas of responsibility 
As Project Planner, you will be supporting the project organisation in developing and maintaining time schedules and human resource plans in accordance with guidelines and processes. You will be part of a planning team that drives the planning process in one of our offshore wind projects.

Furthermore, your key duties will be to:

  • control and maintain time schedules and perform schedule analysis
  • carry out progress updates in terms of activities and resource usage
  • communicate and report progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis
  • secure coordination and alignment between the project package schedules and key milestones
  • assist the project planning team with ad hoc tasks.  

Your profile You hold a master's or bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification. You have 1-2 years' relevant experience and a professional focus on and interest in project planning.

You are an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and you have flair for learning new IT systems. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the Primavera Planning Software (P6).

As a person, you have a structured and analytical approach to your work and a good sense of details. As such, you will have a strong ability to examine information, interpret data and extract key information needed for planning the projects. Adding to that, you know how to manage and prioritise your tasks and are able to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.

It is important that you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward way. Moreover, you have good English skills, both verbally and in writing, enabling you to operate efficiently in an international environment.
