Senior Software Engineer

Shure Scandinavia A/S is looking for a software engineer to join our Product Development department in Copenhagen.

In the Product Development department, we develop platforms and products for Conferencing equipment and advanced meeting control for DCS6000 and other SHURE conferencing products. The DDS 5900 and DCS 6000 products are based on our proprietary communication technology with high reliability and flexibility. We are responsible for mechanics, hardware, firmware and software development as well as production.

The job
You will participate in all software development phases, in corporation with firmware development, product management and cross-functional teams, including but not limited to:

• Design, implementation and test of scalable back end services
• Design, implementation and test of front end client applications
• Prepare and provide supporting design documents, including design specifications, experimental results, design options and trade-offs for final design choice
• Software design, verification and reviews
• Participate in maintenance of line (MOL) work as needed

Competences & skills
We need a candidate with knowledge within the following areas:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or IT with 5+ years’ experience
• Strong knowledge of front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of Microsoft .Net framework, ASP.NET / ASP. NET MVC and C# .NET4.5
• Experienced within the following areas:

             o    Angular JS / SignalR / WebAPI / Node.js
             o    REST based API development 
             o    Database technologies SQL/NoSQL
             o    Visual Studio 2013 / SVN / Gulp

• Ability to estimate, organize and document tasks
• Follow best practices for architecture, review and design
• Experience with agile development routines 
• Knowledge of software design principles and patterns such as SOLID.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English
