Radiocomp ApS is looking for a Test System Engineer  

The Test System Engineer is part of the Integration & Testing (I&T) team responsible for the integration and verification of complete telecommunication products Remote Radio Heads (RRH) and Transceiver Duplexer Units. Through Design Verification Tests the team is the guaranty for delivering products with the wanted performance and quality.
 
The Test System Engineer’s purpose is to specify, develop the SW and maintain the systems used for automated transceiver tests in development projects (R&D), and when necessary to support and participate in test execution.
 
Job Summary 
I&T is following the products through the entire development process, and it is critical to develop and adapt the test systems to match project needs and requirements.
 
The Test System Engineer specifies and develops systems for automated test execution and data acquisition (LabVIEW, C), based on test cases which are defined together with the HW Test Engineers.
 
The duties of Test System Engineer include: Definition of test environment, development of functions between Devices Under Tests and Instruments, as well as other peripheral units for test execution control, measurement and simulation. 
 
Analysis of test failures and debugging is essential part of the job in order to secure reproducibility and repeatability of the systems. 
 
The I&T team in Denmark represents 5 people and is a part of the global I&T team, which includes a total of 11 engineers located in Denmark, Los Angeles and Taiwan.
 
Main tasks 

  • Specify Design Verification Test system architecture & layout
  • Plan and align the Test System development (SW) with peer functions in I&T
  • In-project sparring to HW Test engineers on test case specification & -design
  • Provide input to R&D for testability requirements of critical interfaces
  • Programming scripts / macros for automation of test cases
  • Debug and resolve potential test failures
  • Participate in test execution and reporting, as per need
  • Participate in technical meetings with peer functions in R&D and suppliers
  • Align work procedures and teamwork with colleagues in TW and US
  • Education skills required

 
Technical
Hold a Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or similar. Documented work experience (min. 5 years) with test system development - including SW-programming of advanced test executors (LabVIEW, Teststand), as well as creating scripts (XML) and programming drivers for virtual instruments (CVI).
 
Knowledge of standard communication protocols related to instrument programming (Telnet, IP, etc.). General knowledge of telecommunication equipment / hardware is clearly an advantage - including knowledge about RF transceiver chains and the testing of those.
 
Personal and management skills
You are a systematic and solution-oriented person that manage to bring structure and proper documentation with your work. You are used to plan and organize own work, and feel motivated by being the best within your field.
You are communicative when working in a team, open to different cultures and changes in an international environment.
 
Language skills
Written and spoken English at high level.
