The Senior Engineer within SW Design in Radiocomp will become a part of an energetic, engaged and professional team aiming at becoming the global leading supplier of Remote Radio Heads for cellular and broadband communication systems. Job Summary
As a Senior Engineer and SW designer, you will be responsible for architecture, development and maturing a broad range of designs and applications for our Remote Radio Head. The SW design and implementation covers a wide range of technologies spanning from management applications to maturing and troubleshooting of low level driver implementations. The nature of the business requires an in depth knowledge of associated network technologies and protocols. You will be working closely with our technology team to assure that requirements from product realization are optimally incorporated in MTI technology design. You will typically be working directly with customers to assure correct integration into overall network infrastructure.
The SW group in MTI Mobile Unit consists of a highly skilled team distributed in our three locations in Taiwan, US and Denmark. Competences are in the SW design and development area as well as in regression test and verification. The Senior Engineer contributes and has partial responsibility for SW architecture and design. And together with the SW manager assurs consistency and adherence to best practices. You will strive to deliver best quality and continuously improve state of the art SW development.
Main tasks
- Contributor and partially responsible for SW architecture
- SW specifications
- Align development process, error handling, release procedures and test with the rest of organization (Globally within MTI)
- Assist in customer support
- Radio Head management applications
- Maintenance and customization of low level drivers
- Education skills required
Technical
Hold a Master or bachelor in Engineering or similar. An experienced Engineer with broad, general knowledge of telecommunication equipment as well as high level of technical skills.
The Senior SW Engineer is expected to be proficient in C and C++. In addition, various scripting languages like Perl, VBS and others are considered routine for daily activities.
Personal and management skills
Personally you are a systematic and solution oriented person that manage to bring structure and proper documentation with your design. You feel motivated by being the best within your field.
You are open to different cultures and changes in an international environment.
Language skills
Written and spoken English at high level.
