Senior BI Architect/Consultant - a global role in a multinational company
Our client IGATE, a multinational company, offers end-to-end Business Intelligence and Analytics services that focus on converting data into actionable business insights and are delivered through a robust people-platform-partner ecosystem. With base in Stockholm, this senior SME role will be in the specialization of BI & Analytics with experience in in-memory and advanced visualization aspects.
You will be expected to work in customer locations on consulting projects/programmes, act as a lead consultant/architect and ensure the projects are started off in the right direction and provide technical architectural assurance over a period of time. It is required that you work with delivery/presales team to support bid in developing high quality solutions to the customers. You will act as a lead on proactive PoCs, demos etc. Futhermore, you will appear as the SME during sales conversations and provide SME inputs and gain customer confidence.
You should expect approx. 60-70% travel across UK, Europe and occasional travel to Australia & APAC.
You will report directly to the Head of Client Services Group in London.
Personal skills
We expect the ideal candidate to have 12-14 years of experience, out of which at least 10+ years of experience in the DW/BI/Analytical/in-memory/data scientist space.
You have worked as BI architect on multiple large programmes and consulting assignments on various technologies, e.g. SAP BO/BI/HANA, IBM Cognos, Tableau, Qlikview, SAS BI, MS BI, SSAS, SSRS etc. It is mandatory that you have experience in information design, BI/analytics concepts, programmes and architecture. Any experience in Big Data/advanced analytics/data scientist technologies will be desirable.
We also expect you to have experience in translating technical/architectural requirements into functional/business and vice versa.

You have strong consulting skills and a solutions driven approach, are proactive, self-motivated and target oriented. You have the ability to gain customer confidence and satisfaction.
