The markets for sustainable energy and energy-efficient solutions both in Denmark and internationally are in strong growth, and Ramboll contributes on a large scale with our knowledge. We expand and strengthen our organisation to correspond to our strategic ambitions and market needs to be able to meet the challenges our customers face.

We are looking for a steel material specialist, who can help improve many exciting projects in our Power division both nationally and internationally. Power is part of Ramboll Energy, we are recognized internationally and market leader within the energy area. We have more than 700 specialists in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and the US. We work within all areas related to energy, from energy strategies and planning to production and transmission systems.

Your typical tasks will be advice on:

Furthermore, we expect that you can participate in quality assurance of deliveries from suppliers. You will participate in projects with independent responsibility within the field of materials, and you will also collaborate closely with other parts of the organisation.

In addition, we expect you to develop the materials research area, both internally in Ramboll, as well as externally with our customers and business partners.

We do a great deal of work in collaboration with other departments and business units of Ramboll, thus you can also participate in other projects within the fields of energy, and you will be in contact with suppliers and contractors in connection with the planning and execution of your tasks.

You and your competencies
You are a M.Sc., PhD or equivalent, with strong competencies within the area of steel materials and high-temperature corrosion.

  • are interested in developing within our areas of energy
  • show a good understanding of context and business
  • work systematically with your tasks
  • want to be part of a project team and would like to acquire new skills
  • communicate well in spoken as well as written Danish and English

Join the Power Piping department
You will join the Power Piping department, which is divided geographically at our offices in Kolding and Ørestad. We are a team of 18 employees, with tasks within the areas piping and materials research. We also work within the following areas: CE-marking, Atex and fire safety strategy.
