Stærkstrøms tekniker / engineer to offshore installation

What are my responsibilities?
As a Lead Nominated Person in the Hazardous Energy team, you must have electrical background and experience. In addition, a strong personal structure and overview with knowledge and experience in regard to following tasks are important. More specifically, your main tasks will cover:

  • Verify generic isolation points against project specific documentation
  • Approve non-routine Isolation Procedures (LAP)
  • Approve project specific Work Packages for isolation. Must be able to provide support for the assigned project(s)
  • Ensure that a Safe System of Work is in place and being implemented for work with hazardous energy sources, including but not limited to electrical installations, hot work and confined spaces
  • Ensure that processes and execution of work is complying with relevant legislation and Siemens internal regulations
  • Conduct reviews of process, procedures and safe systems of work for sub-contractors employed by SWP
  • Coach/mentor Nominated Persons 

You will primarily be working directly at our project sites.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Have a background as an electrical engineer or qualified electrician
  • Experience with wind turbine electrical isolation
  • Strong personal structure
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Understanding of offshore projects would be beneficial
  • Experience with other hazardous energies such as hydraulics or rotating / moving parts would also be beneficial
