Engineer, Granulation Production, Kalundborg
We seek an engineer for our Granulation Production Site in Kalundborg preferably with strong competencies within process and/or mechanical engineering. The department belongs to the function Solids DK within the business unit EMA operations.

The EMA operations business unit is a part of the Novozymes production organization with sites in China, USA and Brazil as well as 3 places in Denmark. We are 1200 employees - half of these in Denmark.

Qualifications
You have a background as chemical or mechanical engineer.

You are a dynamic, committed and outgoing person that communicates and cooperates well with all employee groups. You appreciate working systematically, data based and targeted. You can see the broader perspective of things and can handle many tasks at a time.

You drive for results and have a talent for spotting new opportunities. You also think proactively and have a positive approach to challenges and change.

In addition, you also have a great interest in and insight into technical plant and equipment components within the process industry. A great deal of your daily tasks will focus on optimization of the production plant.

Both experienced and newly graduated candidates are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of granulation processes is not a requirement but you need to have abilities and an educational background that enables you to quickly acquire the relevant technical competences.

The job requires that you are fluently speaking and easy to understand in Danish.

Challenges
The department includes 100 employees and is responsible for operation and development of the granulation production in Kalundborg. We have a fully flexible plant and produce all Novozymes' granulated and coated products. Due to its size and flexibility, the plant plays a very strategic role, especially in the coming years with fast development within formulation technology, process control and capacity improvements.

As part of the staff in Granulation Production, you will have significant influence on the department's performance and development. In a dynamic and sometimes hectic environment, it is our joint challenge to keep processes under control and the production running in the highest gear. At the moment, we are implementing our functional plan which includes a number of major technical and organizational activities.

Your tasks will primarily be:

  • Responsible for the production and quality of a number of our products
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of the departments equipment
  • Contribute to the preparation of our technical plans
  • Troubleshooting of equipment

The work will be in close cooperation with your new colleagues, our sister department in Bagsværd, our development and optimization departments and other production departments in Denmark as well as abroad.
