For our EHS Team in our SCM Blades Global Support Function we are looking for a top motivated Environmental Specialist who is interested in continuing the positive development towards an even more environmentally friendly blade production. You will be part of a team of 6 committed EHS colleagues and report to the EHS team lead.

What are my responsibilities?
As an Environmental Specialist you will cooperate closely with the blade technology departments and other EHS colleagues at the blade facilities and in Siemens Wind Power. Your primary place of work will be Aalborg but you will also visit other blade factories around the world.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Be the environmental professional in discussions with our blade technology departments to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated in the blade production process.
  • Prepare and maintain environmental approvals for blade technology locations.
  • Identify and manage transversal environmental improvement potential projects at the blade facilities
  • Be the environmental specialist support for our blade facilities
  • Plan and implement relevant training of the organizations
  • Maintain our environmental management system according to ISO 14001

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have a relevant environmental/technical education and minimum 5 years of experience with operational EHS including environmental management acc to ISO 14001
  • You have solid knowledge of Danish environmental legal requirements
  • You are enterprising, independent, take on responsibility and have a pragmatic approach to your work assignments
  • You are methodical and organized
  • You have excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing
  • You are outgoing and a strong team player
  • You like a dynamic work day with many different assignments and an extensive network
