The job
As Manager of Software Development, PC Applications, you will become part of the Research and Development department and will refer directly to the Director of R&D. You will hold a key role in driving the development and lifecycle management of our PC applications for various systems with focus on Unified Communications.
You will be the manager of a smaller team of specialists in Denmark and in this function be responsible for projects from idea to launch. The engineering power is located in India where most of the execution takes place. You will be the interface to a large network of the company’s internal stakeholders ranging from Marketing and Sales to the technical specialists in R&D.
Your responsibilities comprise:
- Management of a newly established team of 4-5 persons in Denmark
- Development and maintenance of working methods, processes and tools that ensure an efficient collaboration with colleagues in India
- Development and maintenance of our external business relations in India
- Technical maintenance of existing and future PC applications
- Technical interface between Product Management and the project group
- Internal stakeholder management
Your profile
You should bring the following prerequisites to this newly established position:
- A degree at BA level or above in engineering
- 5-10 years of work experience with PC application development
- Strong experience with Cloud, Windows, Mac and Web based applications (C++, C#, Java, .NET, ASP)
- Track record with agile development and user analytics
- Knowledge about WHQL driver certificating
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Manager
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Danish is a further advantage
- A self-driven team player with can-do attitude
