COWI A/S is looking for an experienced Discipline Manager for design of civil structures related to wind energy. The job is in Lyngby, Denmark.

For the department of Wind and M&E, we are looking for an experienced Discipline Manager to join our specialist team.

Job description:
The department has approximately 50 employees working with the following fields:
Wind, wind turbines, wind turbine foundation and other relevant civil structures, electrical and mechanical engineering in infrastructure. 

You will be part of a dynamic engineering team within the Balance of Plant section, which is very successful within concrete design.

We expect you to have the following experience and qualifications:

• Strong academic background, preferably a Master's degree in structural engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Good understanding of structural behaviour
• Thorough knowledge of FEM calculations
• Fluent in technical Danish and English both written and spoken
• Knowledge about tender documents will be beneficial
• Thorough knowledge of concrete structures and secondary also steel structures
• Quality-conscious
• A willingness both to learn and teach
• Basic experience in project management
