Team leader

We are looking for a team leader - with extensive mechanical expertise.

In Product Innovation, we are responsible for developing instruments from concept till the instruments are ready to be released for production and sales.

The job
Foss Product Innovation Team consists of 14 dedicated and skilled mechanical engineers, designing solutions in sheet metal, advanced turned/milled parts, plastics and advanced flow systems.

We are continuously expanding, and we need a talented team leader who can contribute to the continued development of the team by developing and strengthening the competencies in the team.

As a team leader, you will provide leadership and co-ordination of the team, and you will be responsible for the people management which includes regular performance management appraisals. You will maintain an overview and oversee the team´s contribution to new projects and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Furthermore, as team leder, you will have the responsibility of implementing and developing of our mechanical strategies and best practises in close corporation with our Senior Scientist of Mechanics. In addition to being team lead, you will also contribute to the team´s activities on a technical level and be running smaller development projects and task forces when required.

Qualifications
We expect you to have an educational background in mechanics with focus on innovation, construction, assembly structure and manufacturability.

You have a minimum of 5 years experience within mechanical construction - plus experience with design of instruments architecture.

You should have a minimum of 3 years of management experience - and have a good track record as a manager.

You have experience within project management, working with small development projects.

All candidates must be fluent in English and Danish.
