Optimization of production - Commissioning of new releases from R&D to production
With reference to the company's CTO you will become part of a competent and development-oriented team in a company with great potential, and where the work environment is young and innovative. In this role you will be responsible for continuously optimizing the production in collaboration with engineers at our manufacturing partner in Poland, coordination with the development department in Copenhagen, and understanding and taking responsibility for all the processes related to production, in order to ensure the most optimal design. Your task as NPI (New Product Implementation) Manager will be to ensure that new products and ideas from R&D are refined and implemented in the most appropriate way in the production. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous improvements on your own initiative. You will participate in Design For Manufacturing projects, Work with sourcing, instruct and advise production partners and subcontractors, and handle their issues in relation to production. Furthermore you should focus on ensuring a competitive production cost and production quality, ensure that products are properly tested and documented, as well as make design changes in SolidWorks.
Engineering Profile with knowledge of NPI, Continuous Improvements, and the ability to spare with R&D
You most likely have a background as e.g. a mechanical- or production engineer combined with several years of industry experience in a similar role, where you have worked with the implementation of new products in the production within the field of device development or the equivalent. You are able to minimize costs and stabilize new products in relation to production. As a person you see your tasks through, are dynamic and committed, and thrive in informal environments where the organizational structure is flat, and where you will have a real impact throughout the organization from R&D to procurement, production etc. You are accustomed to similar responsibilities and have previously held a role where the tasks have had a large span, which is also why you possess a good overview and a strong technical understanding. You have knowledge of SolidWorks and can make adjustments to CAD drawings and the production base, including inventory lists in SolidWorks CAD/PDM. There will be a limited amount of travel, primarily to the production site in Poland.
