Engineer, Granulation Production
We are seeking for an engineer for our granulation production site in Bagsværd with strong competencies within process and/or mechanical engineering. The department belongs to the function Solids DK within the business unit EMA operations.

The EMA operations business unit is a part of the Novozymes production organization with sites in China, USA and Brazil as well as three places in Denmark. We are 1200 employees - half of these in Denmark.

Challenges
The department consists of 65 employees and is responsible for operation and development of the granulation production in Bagsværd. We have a fully flexible plant and produce a wide variety of Novozymes' granulated and coated products. Due to its size and flexibility, the plant plays a strategic role, especially in the coming years with fast development within formulation technology, process control and capacity improvements.

As part of the staff in Granulation Production, you will have significant influence on the department's performance and development. In a dynamic and sometimes hectic environment, it is our joint challenge to keep processes under control and the production running in the highest gear. At the moment, we are implementing our functional plan which includes a number of major technical and organizational activities.

Your tasks will primarily be:

  • Responsible for the production and quality of a number of our products
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of the department's equipment
  • Contribute to the preparation of our technical plans
  • Troubleshooting and continuous improvement of equipment

The work will be in close cooperation with your new colleagues, our sister department in Kalundborg, our development and optimization departments and other production departments in Denmark as well as abroad.

Qualifications
You have a background as chemical or mechanical engineer.

You are a dynamic, committed and outgoing person that communicates and cooperates well with all employee groups. You appreciate working systematically, data based and targeted. You can see the broader perspective of things and can handle many tasks at a time.

You are result oriented and have a talent for spotting new opportunities. You also think proactively and have a positive approach to challenges and change.

In addition, you also have a great interest in and insight into technical plant and equipment components within the process industry. A great deal of your daily tasks will focus on optimization of the production plant.

Knowledge of granulation processes is not a requirement but you need to have abilities and an educational background within chemical engineering that enables you to quickly acquire the relevant technical competences.

The job requires that you speak Danish fluently.
