Embedded Software Development Engineer

Are you a dynamic and outgoing software expert?
Sennheiser Communications is looking for an embedded software developer for the development of wireless products based on new or existing software platforms. You will be as much responsible for in-house software development as for the coordination of outsourced development projects.

Projects are typically led by the Danish headquarter, where they are conceptualized and developed in cooperation with our global partners. It will be your responsibility to plan and implement these complex software projects, and here, it is vital to create and use the synergies from all different competences and cultures involved. You will be part of a team with highly dedicated software developers, and your projects will range from single-led projects to bigger ones where you are part of an interdisciplinary team.

Your responsibilities:

• Embedded software development in C
• Debugging of embedded systems
• Integration of software modules into larger software platforms
• Development of protocol software
• Test automation development
• Interface to outsourced SW-development functions
• Product specification in cooperation with product management and project leads
• Continuous contact to other competence fields to ensure interdisciplinary consensus

Your qualifications
For this exciting job opportunity you preferably hold the following qualifications and skills:

• Degree in engineering and up to 3-5 consecutive years of experience in C programming
• Experience with Bluetooth and USB technologies
• Experience in programming in Python
• Be an outgoing team player who is used to work with many interfaces
• Proactive learner who is fast in getting an overview over complex software issues
• Ability to implement software development tasks independently or as part of small teams
• Excellent communication skills in written and oral Danish and English
• Valid Danish residence and work permit required
