About the department
You will be part of Durable Device Product Maintenance in Hillerød. We are responsible for maintaining and improving the design and manufacturing processes of Novo Nordisk’s price-winning durable injection pens. You will have 15 skilled, dedicated and motivated colleagues counting Technical Engineers, System Responsibles and Projects Managers. Our team is newly established and our ambitious goal is to change the way we perform product maintenance of our durable devices.
The job
Your overall objective is to improve our device design while focusing on high quality, safety, user interface and price. You will be responsible for design, drawings and tolerance chain calculations on existing products in production. You will carry out analyses on specifications, change requests and non-conformities in order to plan and report design verifications and validations. As such, you will lead a number of product maintenance projects and participate as project member in others. Across your tasks you focus on delivering high quality within agreed deadlines and budgets. You can look forward to having a great number of contacts to suppliers, Engineering colleagues, Process Owners, Product Experts… As part of this you will travel 10-15 days per year, primarily to China and Europe.
Qualifications
You are Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer and have +5 years experience from working with mechanical design in a highly regulated industry known for high quality and low risk products. You are used to be working with CAD, preferably CREO/ProEngineer. You are known for your systematic, analytical and structured way of working which enable you to turn a complex problem into a solution. In combination with your proactive drive for results you can bring your projects forward. With your open minded and flexible approach towards others you can easily establish good relations to all kinds of people. It will be advantageous but not a prerequisite if you have experience from manufacturing and of Geometrical Product Specification.
