Manager in Commercial Excellence
Commercial Excellence is looking for a Manager to help us in the efforts to improve our opportunity management and the skills of the global sales force.
As Commercial Excellence Manager you will be part of a small project team, Customer Experience, which is spearheading the efforts in improving the Novozymes way of selling.

Qualifications

  • You have a MSc within Business Administration, Economics or similar.
  • 3-5 years of working experience within marketing, business development, project management, consulting or sales excellence/operations.
  • Strong business acumen, including an ability to understand and solve commercial problems and translate these into concrete actions and approaches.
  • Strong analytical skills, you are comfortable working with quantative analysis.
  • Experience from a large global company
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries regardless of formal reporting lines.
  • Ability to design and execute on project plans while still maintaining a holistic perspective.
  • Ability to facilitate high impact workshops
  • Outgoing personality, passionate, lots of drive and energy.
  • High impact personality, persuasive communication skills and a strong ability to drive positive change.

Challenges
The new Commercial Excellence Manager will play an important role in the anchoring of initiatives within opportunity management and sales competences across the commercial frontline. Hence your responsibility will include securing the implementation of the sales tools and processes.

The key to success in this role is to be able to execute on the implementation of the sales and marketing initiatives, engage with the organization and understand its needs and deliver direct business support to sales teams and sales executives on ad hoc basis.

The position provides for interactions on most organizational levels and with exposure to many functional areas across Novozymes, hence you will cooperate with e.g. Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance.
You will be part of Commercial Excellence, a department of ~20 people dedicated at supporting Novozymes' commercial stakeholders in reaching their business targets. You will be reporting to the Head of Customer Experience.
20 travel days are expected annually.
