Lean Performance Manager (Senior Manager)
Lean in Supply Operations
Supply Operations consist of more than 3300 employees globally and covers Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Process Development in Novozymes.
Following a 1½ year Lean pilot program in our Supply Chain Operations, the management team has decided to launch a globally aligned Lean program aiming for operational excellence throughout the entire Supply Operations.

The ambition behind the introduction of Lean in Supply Operations is to maintain Novozymes’ position as the world leading supplier of biological solutions by instilling a continuous and aligned improvement culture. We expect Lean to be a game changer that will introduce an entirely new way of both planning and operating in Novozymes.

A Lean program office is currently being established with Lean Performance Managers and Lean Transformation Specialists in each region, and we are now looking for additional skilled managers to join this team. This centrally organized team will be Novozymes’ Lean experts, who will develop the Lean concept and ensure alignment across sites when implementing Lean in Supply Operations in collaboration with Lean Coordinators in the regional operations.

Lean Performance Manager
Lean Performance Managers will collaborate with LoB to establish structure and systems based on business needs by managing the implementation process of Lean in selected departments. This includes analyzing the current state of operating and developing competences in LoB to apply structure and systems, by using a mix of instruction and coaching.

Furthermore, the Lean Performance Manager will ensure deployment of Lean by conducting system audits in LoB, assessing compliance and usage of Lean principles to ensure that competences develops and expected results are delivered.

The Lean Performance Manager will refer directly to the Senior Director for the Lean Program Office and report to the steering group for each roll-out.

Qualifications

  • +5 years’ management experience and strong leadership skills
  • Master degree in Engineering or Business
  • Extensive lean experience and training
  • Strong communication skills with ability to talk to people at many different layers of the organization
  • Good interpersonal skills, trustworthy and able to handle conflict in a constructive manner
  • Enthusiasm and strong drive

The candidate must be willing to work for longer periods at Kalundborg, Bagsværd and Fuglebakken during roll-out
