For a new position, we are looking for a Wind Turbine Engineer with experience in aerodynamics, loads and control for our R&D Department in kk-electronic a/s. The R&D department is developing embedded systems, turbine and park control applications, platform development tools, data management and presentation tools and graphical user interfaces.

Responsibilities
As our new Wind turbine Engineer, you will be working with many aspects within the aerodynamic, loads and control field. You will have close interaction with our electrical control engineers and our customers or partners and will have direct reference to the manager of the Software Department.

Your main responsibilities will cover:

  • Aerodynamic models, loads and certification
  • Aero-elastic simulations
  • Determination of load levels
  • Wind turbine model analysis
  • Improve operation and availability
  • Prediction and improvement of performance
  • Prediction of noise
  • Turbulence and wind shear

Your profile
We are looking for a mechanical or aeronautical engineer, preferably with theoretical, as well as practical, wind turbine control experience. Alternatively you are a control engineer with knowledge within mechanical and aeronautical engineering. You have experience from a similar position.You are a dedicated team player and enjoy working in cross-functional projects in a global environment. Your analytical skills are excellent and you work well both independently and in teams.
