For a new position, we are looking for a SCADA Software Architect. The software department at kk-electronic is developing embedded systems, turbine and park control applications, platform development tools, data management and presentation tools and graphical user interfaces.

Responsibilities
You will be working with our SCADA system as architect and specialist. Securing evolution of our current system is part of your job and you will give input to roadmap planning based on strategic decisions and feedback from our customers.

Initiatives that improve safety, quality, usability and stability are key fundamentals in our development and we want products that are solid as a rock and easy to use.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Database design 
  • Security and access control
  • Requirement Specification
  • Wind data management
  • Usability, User Interaction and GUI
  • Network Design
  • Agile development
  • QA

Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in MSc or BSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline. It is important that you have practical experience from working with Wind SCADA systems. You are skilled in developing in .NET and/or Java and information about WCF and IIS would be a plus.

You are motivated by working in cross-functional projects and team and are an excellent team-player. You work very analytical and have the ability to work both independently as well as in teams.
