Welcome to a brighter future
At Novozymes, we are creating a better world every day, for the world around us, for each other and for future generations. If you are passionate about bio-innovation we can offer you a brighter future too.

In Supply Operations we make innovation a reality when producing and delivering value to our customers. We have a unique ability to continuously optimize our business. Our expertise build on deep specialized knowledge as well as a broad understanding of the entire supply chain fostered through people development and rotation between areas.

Do you have what it takes to become a future leader in EMA Operations?
Can you turn challenges into opportunities and always focus on what is next? If you are a high-performer, dare to lead, and are driven by a commitment to make a difference, the Future Leader Program will be the perfect match for you.

We are looking for passionate graduates to take part in developing and supporting operations in Novozymes. EMA Operations has the largest and most advanced production facilities in Novozymes with nearly 700 employees at productions sites in Bagsvaerd, Kalundborg and Copenhagen NV (Fuglebakken).

As a Future Leader Graduate in EMA Operations you will be part of a team of passionate graduates with high ambitions and leadership aspirations. The Future Leader Program will take you through three different positions in EMA Operations over a period of 3-5 years. We will design job rotations to your specific profile and competences and prepare you for a possible leader position in EMA Operations; through mentoring, coaching, and training. In addition, we will provide you a network in the organization and attention from senior management.

Challenges and responsibilities
During the program, you will rotate between different areas within EMA Operations such as production departments (Fermentation, Recovery or Granulation), Maintenance & Technology and our Planning & Flow function. Candidates who show successful results and leadership competences throughout the program will be offered to take on roles as leader of people or projects at the end of the program.

As part of the academic staff in EMA Operations, you will have significant influence on the department’s performance and development. In a dynamic and sometimes hectic work environment, it is our joint challenge to keep processes under control and the production running in the highest gear.

Depending on the position that you fulfill at a given time, you will be exposed to different responsibilities, e.g. implementing new technology, up-scaling of new products, optimization of flow and processes or LEAN transformation. You will be working independently, but most of the time in teams.

The Future Leader Program will provide you with in-depth understanding and knowledge about core processes and tasks in EMA Operations which are important cornerstones in developing a career as future leader in Novozymes.

Qualifications
We are looking for top candidates with engineering background (or similar) at Master’s level within or related to the following areas: Technical Chemistry, Production Management, Planning & Logistics, Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering or alike. We expect you to have 0-5 years of experience.

LEAN philosophies are key to EMA Operations and it is therefore a clear advantage if the you have experience with LEAN and Operational Excellence. We look for passionate high-performers driven by a commitment to make a difference. You must have leadership aspirations within project or people management. We look for candidates with excellent people and communication skills, which have the leadership capabilities to influence people in situations without formal power. The right personality is pivotal in succeeding in this role, and we expect you to be positive, proactive, self-driven and an open-minded team player.

You must be flexible and ready to work out of either Bagsvaerd, Kalundborg or Copenhagen. Some travel activities or short time stays (2-4 weeks) at Novozymes’ sites abroad may also be an option.
