We are looking for four open minded, innovative and communicative Engineers

Two new colleagues for our Automation and Advanced Process Control Department and two for Energy and Process Engineering Department, both situated in Nakskov. The  Nordzucker Innovation & Technology group function has offices in Nakskov /DK, Braunschweig /D and Malmö /S.

Automation and Process Control Department:
If you are looking for a job where you can use your technical competences to develop and implement intelligent control, then our Automation Technology Department can offer you an interesting job! You will join our team of 12 professional Engineers as your closest colleagues in Automation & Advanced Process Control, in close cooperation with our Software Developer team - developing, implementing and maintaining solutions for Nordzucker sugar factories and refineries.

We look for persons with a relevant Master's degree in Advanced Process Control or Process Engineer with an interest in Automation. To be successful in this job, you must have knowledge of working with all aspects of Process Control Systems. Our preferred systems  are Foxboro IA and Siemens PCS7, but we also work with ABB 800xA. Do you also have experience with processes such as; Extraction, Filtration, Evaporation, Crystallization, Batch process, Centrifugation, Drying or Energy production, you certainly have the right competences we are looking for.

Energy and Process Engineering Department:
The main responsibility in the position is  to ensure process development and optimization of existing processes. You need to have a strong focus on energy optimization, crystallization and separation processes. The role is also to act as a supporting function for various production units in several countries. You will be a part of a multicultural environment where you will have contacts in most of Europe. You will join a small and dedicated team of 4 highly skilled engineers.
You have experience in development within the areas energy optimization: Mapping of mass end energy balances, process integration and simulation, as well as testing of new methods.  

An academic background on BSc. or MSc. level is required, specializing in technical chemistry, and preferably with separation process experience. You are creative and have the ability to easily combining knowledge on a cross-functional basis. You are dedicated and determined to translate your knowledge into practical solutions. The ideal candidate is expected to have good communication skills in both written and spoken English and should be able to appreciate the long-term business goals of the projects.
